Looking for experience in sports video production?
Are you looking to get your foot in the sports entertainment industry?
Come join the video production team at Minnesota United! We are actively looking for video production interns who want to gain real-world skills by joining the best video department in the North American Soccer League.
An internship with a video production team is the perfect way to learn from an experienced crew while figuring out if a job in the sports entertainment industry is for you. Find your passion while immersing yourself in the Twin Cities’ newest professional sports team and walk away with professional-level content for your reel and resume. Why wait until after college to find out if you’re meant to be on the sidelines, behind the camera or in an editing bay? This is your opportunity to explore all the different areas that go into making a successful video production team operate.
As a video production intern, you’ll act as a production assistant who will have daily hands-on involvement in a number of projects, including highlight packages, practice reports, features, interviews and game-day operations. The opportunities to learn and succeed are endless as we continue to develop the video production department and our internship opportunities.
We are looking for a commitment of 20 hours a week, unpaid – students can receive school credit and any work-related miles would be reimbursed. Schedules are based on team games and functions, and while flexible, a firm commitment is expected by anyone who decides to join the team.
Any experience with video production or post-production is a huge plus, but we are willing to teach someone who has the right attitude and ambition to join the team. You’ll be carrying around equipment and cameras, so the ability to carry 50 pounds is a must and we definitely want someone with drive and tenacity that isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty.
Positions are available immediately and we will be filling positions year-round. Send your cover letter and resume to technical operations producer Brad Baker at email@example.com.
Any questions? Just ask. Our video production team members have all worked as interns and welcome any thoughts you might have.
This internship will not lead to full time employment.
